About Us

I Started following Sheffield United from the 1978/79 season as an 8 year old. My first game was a pre season friendly against River Plate to celebrate the signing of Alex Sabella. Since that season I have followed The Blades religiously home and away. I have seen them play on virtually every ground in the country with the exception of the odd new ground or team that has come up from the conference. There have been a few highs (The 4th Division season in 1981/82, the 5-2 away win at Leicester in 1989/90 and the 2002/2003 season when the club reached two cup semi finals and the play-off final) but sadly far more low points in watching this great football club.

Collecting programmes surprisingly didn't start for me until around 1981. Prior to that point I would ask my father for a programme at the match only to be told "you don't want one of those they are a waste of money". Then from1981 me and my father began collecting and very quickly the amount acquired grew out of hand. We used to put Sheffield United programmes on display at open days at Bramall Lane and were well known for having the biggest collection of Sheffield United programmes around.
